GABA improves overall quality of sleep. Our human study showed that GABA absorbs in our body within 30 min. Therefore, taking GABA supplement 30-60 min before going to bed is helpful to impart good sleep.

100 mg of GABA was given to elderly people for 4 weeks. The results showed that there was an improvement in the quality of sleep such as sleep latency and quality of sleep, drowsiness in the morning, and recovering from fatigue in the GABA group.  Furthermore, the frequency of night urination significantly decreased in the GABA group.
